Fun fair

College life is not all about studying. it about learning new skills, having fun
and growing independent. To allow our students to have a break from their tight
schedule and to reward their hard work, WDC manages a huge funfair in the
college once a year. Students of nearby colleges are also invited to participate,
helping the students to develop their social skills. Funfair includes carnivals,
oodles of foodless, plays and parodies, face paintings and henna decoration, magic
tricks and exhibitions etc.

Tours

Taking students into a new environment gives them the experience of
traveling in a group and teaches them to be respectful of the locations they visit.
Students get to visit a place to which they have never been before. This is
particularly advantageous to students who are less fortunate and don't have the
opportunity to travel. Students get a chance to spend time with each other in a new
environment hence helping them bond with one another. WDC arranges such trips
to historic, informational and fun places throughout the year. These trips play a key
role in our educational planning.

Sports

Something as important as sports should never be missed. And this was the
reason for our enthusiasm at inducing a sporty spirit in their students. The college
emphasizes on physical fitness of its students, thus planning and holding various
indoor and outdoor activities. Keeping in view the significance of co-curricular
activities, a balanced and sound physical training program exists in the college.
Adequate facilities including sports gear, a sports instructor and the vast and
inviting ground suitable for all kind of games. Efforts are being made to introduce
new games and improve the existing facilities. Inter-class competitions in various
events are held in the college for which trophies are awarded on the annual sports
week.

Student societies
To encourage the participation of the students in
various activities, six different societies are formed. These
societies work under the guidance of society incharges and
elected presidents.

Quiz Society                            Debating Society
